REGISTER NOW FOR THE JIM JONES MEMORIAL CLASSIC!
On Friday, March 31st, we lost a true legend. Jim Jones, one of the all-time Hidden Haven greats, passed away while golfing with one of his sons in California. Not only was Jim a long-time member of the Hidden Haven Men's Club, but he was also a former Junior League coach, and member of the pro shop staff. No one loved golf more than Jim, and if there's one positive we can find in his passing, it's that it happened to him while he was playing the game he loved so much!
Everyone loved Jim, and to honor his memory, Hidden Haven will be hosting the inaugural Jim Jones Memorial Classic, on Sunday, June 25th. The event is an 18-hole four-player scramble tournament, open to everyone who wants to play! The event details, plus instructions on how to register are below!
Event Details:
Sunday, June 25th
10am shotgun start
Four-player scramble, 18-holes
$75 for Hidden Haven members
$125 for general public
Includes 18-holes with cart, bag lunch, entry for hole-in-one prizes on each par 3, raffle ticket for prize drawing, and chance to win prizes for the top teams!
The top two teams in the scramble will go head-to-head afterward in a one hole shootout, to decide who are champions are! Jim loved the shootout tournaments!
Hole-in-one prize contests on every par 3
$5 closest to the pin chipping contest on the practice green. Proceeds go toward building a Jim Jones bench that will forever be near the putting green, where Jim spent a couple hours every day!
Drinks and prize raffle in the basement of the bar after golf!
Jim was a huge supporter of junior golf, so a portion of each player's entry fee will go toward a donation to the Youth on Course junior program
A celebration of life for Jim will be hosted by his family the next day, Monday, June 26th, 4-7pm at Majestic Oaks
